early times report Jammu, Dec 20: A deputation of various tourism associations of Bhaderwah led by Tariq Choudhary called on President Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Y V Sharma at Chamber House and apprised him about various problems being faced by them. The associations included Bhaderwah Paying Guest Society, Bhaderwah Travel Association, Badherwah Hotel Association and Bhaderwah Tourism Federation. They pointed out that Bhaderwah has a majestic antique of Jamia Masjid, Chandi Mata Temple, Gupt Ganga, Akash Ganga, Vasuki Nag Mandir, Neozuki Temple, Dargah Sheriffs and Bhaderwah Fort which are unique in northern India. "Besides this, rock climbing, horse riding, river rafting, para gliding and other tourism related activities do conclude with many fairs and festivals in Bhaderwah," they told Sharma. They demanded installation of Gandola from Gurdanda to Sonabain Glaciers, work on the Jai Valley - Gandoh Tehsil Road and Bhaderwah to Seoj via Mathola be expedited, Jai Road Bhaderwah up to 1 KM be developed as Mall Road with modern facilities alongwith colonization marketing complex, land mark be developed with latest water fountain having sizzling appearance and Ghanta Ghar as well as underground Sulabh Sochalya facilities. Sharma assured the delegation that all the points raised in the meeting will be taken up with the government on priority. |
