| Nazir's Outburst: Bhim writes flaring communiqué to PM demanding early dismissal of 'Abdullahs' | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT jAMMU, Jan 9: Expressing his serious concerns over the reminder of 'plebiscite' by National Conference's spokesperson Shiekh Nazir, Prof Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party and Member of NIC in his letter to Dr Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India urged his immediate intervention by dismissing the Omar led government in J&K and also prosecuting Farooq Abdullah, President, National Conference and his son for seditious utterances and inciting the innocent people against the Union of India. Prof Bhim Singh in his letter, reminded the Prime Minister that the Chief Minister, standing on the Congress crutches in J&K had publicly challenged the State's Accession with the Union of India on the floor of the Assembly last year. And now General Secretary & Spokesman of his party NC, Sheikh Nazir, had in a party rally had declared that the agenda of NC was 'plebiscite', which he described as independence. Prof Singh said that even Pakistan was not asking for plebiscite because Pakistan was directed by UN Resolution to withdraw from occupied territories which Pakistan refused. In his communiqué to PM, Prof Singh reminded that all issues at the domestic level were closed when Sheikh Abdullah signed agreement with the Union of India in 1975. "He urged Prime Minister to dismiss and prosecute Dr. Farooq Abdullah who is the President of the National Conference for the secessionists' declaration of his party, he wrote and demanded immediate dismissal of Omar Abdullah who represents the party and is standing on the crutches of the Congress. Prof Singh further has also sought permission of the President of India to prosecute Dr Farooq Abdullah and from the Governor of J&K to prosecute Omar Abdullah the Chief Minister of J&K for their seditious and anti-national activities. "National Conference leadership has again started beating drums with an ulterior motive to hijack the Jamat-e-Islami agenda provoking an inciting the innocent Kashmiries against the Union of India. The recent examples deserve your urgent attention to understand the nefarious and dangerous designs of the National Conference headed by Farooq Abdullah and the State Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, the letter stated. It added Sheikh Nazir, declared publicly last evening in Srinagar in the presence of the State Ministers and senior NC leaders demanding 'plebiscite' in J&K knowing very well that the issue was buried in the political grave in 1951 when Pakistan defied the UN Resolution of 13th August, 1948 and refused to withdraw Pakistan's armies and civilian raiders from the occupied territories of J&K namely, Gilgit, Baltistan, Askardu and POK (what Pakistan calls 'Azad Kashmir'). The National Conference has been ruling the state for the past four years under an undependable, inexperienced, corrupt and authoritarian Chief Minister whereas his father is the Minister in the Union Govt. Both of them have sworn an allegiance to the Constitution of India which they violate everyday by preaching secession thus committing sedition. "The Prime Minister, the present government in J&K led by National Conference has turned a security risk and its continuation may prove disaster for the security and unity of the entire country. This is in the national interest that Omar Abdullah government is dismissed without delay and NC leaders are prosecuted in accordance with the law of land. If an MLA could be prosecuted for making a communal statement, what about a sitting cabinet minister and a State Chief Minister openly challenging the sovereignty of the country?, Prof Bhim concluded his letter. |
