| JU class-IV employees observe token strike | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 7: Class four employees and casual labourers of Jammu University observed three-hour token strike for the fourth consecutive day today.
They are demanding regularization of casual labourers who have completed seven years in service and overtime.
More than 500 permanent employees and daily wager of the University took part in the protest, which was organized under the banner of Non-Gazetted Employees Union.
The token protest was held in the form of a rally from Administration bloc-k to Zorawar Singh Audit-orium and culmination of the same at starting point.
NGEU President said that Non-Teaching Empl-oyees as well as students have extended support to their struggle. |
