| Plus 2 result: IFHS Kishtwar bags first position | | | Early Times Report Kishtwar, Feb 7 Once again showing her dominance in the field of education, girls outshines boys in 10+2 result in winter zone of Jammu province, the of which was today announced by the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education. As per the result declared by the JKBOSE, Maniza Kousar daughter of Fida Hussain Zarger resident of Hidyal Kishtwar, student of Islamia Fareedia Higher Secondary School Kishtwar bagged first position by securing 478 (95.6%)marks out of 500 followed by Salman Sadat Dar son of Sadat Bashir Dar resident of Akhyar Abad Kishtwar securing 469(93.8%), Ten-zeen Youndan Bodh son of Lal Chand resident of Padder with 460 (92%), both Salman and Tenzeen were the students of Government Boys Higher Secondary School Kishtwar. Fourth position was begged by Iram Ara Zarger daguther of Tehseen Ahmed Zarger with 459 (91.8%) of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kishtwar. The 5th position goes to Basit Masood Dev son of Masood Ahmed Dev resident of near Veterinary Hospital Kishtwar, a student of GHSS Boys Kishtwar by securing 457 (91.4 %) and the 6th position was held by Uzma Sidiqa daughter of Shabir Ahmed Gagroo resident of near Veterinary Hospital Kishtwar. Uzma was the student of Islamia Fareedia Higher Secondary School Kishtwar and secured 454 (90.8%). Over all girls outshines the boys in top 50 positions. While talking to the "Early Times" Maniza Kousar attributed her success to teacher and parents. She said that she would like to become the Doctor. Similar views were expressed by Basit Masood Dev who too shows his interest in Medical field, Both Maniza and Basit wants to serve the people of Kishtwar District in future. Meanwhile Principal HSS Boys Kishtwar Javeed Ahmed Kichloo extended his greetings to the meritorious students and also greeted the parents of the students who bring top position in 10+2 examination, beside his staff. Kichloo said that government schools always played an important role in education sector and added that since independent, government schools produces top bureaucrats and politicians as well, who played an important role in nation building. |
