| Another JU girl student molested, assaulted in Campus | | |

Jammu, Feb 11: In a bizarre incident three outsiders entered into the Jammu University Campus and molested and also roughed up a post graduate student in presence of other students here today.
As per sources, the victim girl student Shruti Sharma (name withheld) was on her way to Bio Chemistry Department to attend class at around 3:30 pm when she was held up by three miscreants who started molesting her. When she resisted to their attempt, the accused slapped her. The incident has shocked the higher ups in Jammu University authorities. Meanwhile based on the complaint of the victim Gandhi Nagar Police registered a case u/s 341,323 and 354 RPC against FIR NO 32/2013 and has started manhunt to arrest the accused after their identification.
This is the second assault of girl student in JU Campus. Earlier, also an outsider namely Rayaz Ahmed of Dalpatian Mohalla, Jammu assaulted on girl student in MA English department and police had arrested the accused u/s 107,152 RPC.
