| JU Class IV Employees stir enters 8th consecutive day | | |

Jammu, Feb 11: Class IV Employees Union and Casual Labourers of University of Jammu, continued their strike on the eighth consecutive day. Meanwhile employees unions of University i.e. NGEU and NTEU in a joint meeting decided to hold a token strik.e
Union of NGEU and all the employees assembled infront of Administration block and strated their protest in support of their genuine demands.
They said despite eight day long stir and two meetings with the University authorities no positive outcome has come out. Meanwhile, the Non-Teaching Union too has held its meeting with their Senior Employees about the Support for NGEU Union and have decided to extend the support for NGEU's Token strike from Feb 12.
The statement President Krishan Lal and General Secretary Vijay Sharma refused the reports of any meeting with a committee headed by Prof D L Choudhary.
