| NC-Congress fail on all fronts: Rehman | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 11 : State president, Samajwadi Party (SP) and Former MP, Sheikh Abdul Rehman today said that the marriage of convenience contracted between the NC-Congress has failed on all fronts. In a press statement Rehman said that the development shown in newspapers and virtually very little are visible on ground.
"Unfortunately, we have been declared as number one the most corrupt states in the country. Coalition partners have so many corrupt ministers who have involved in land grabbing, sex scandals, against whom cases are registered in vigilance organization" he said.
SP state president said that the general public has fed-up with negative role being played by the main opposition BJP and PDP. "The PDP has become the dumping ground for the corrupt bureaucrats while as open sale of seven BJP legislatures in 'cash for vote' is talk of town" he added.
The statement also said that Retired Col Bahadur Singh Choudhary has been appointed as State Vice President, Retired Judge V K Atri as Vice President Jammu Province, while Advocate Raja Mohd Abass, Dr Mohd Yousaf Mir (Budgam) and Advocate Nazir Ahmed (Srinagar) were appointed as State Secretary. |
