| JAMMU, Feb 11 : Martand Improvement Charitable Trust (MICT) is holding two day annual Hawan at Martand, Mattan in Kashmir and at Surya Bhawan, Paloura in Jammu. In press statement issued here, General Secretary MICT, Veerji Pandita said that it was decided in a meeting, which was presided by Trust president MK Yogi, here today. "The meeting finalized the programme for this auspicious sacramental activity that would be performed on the eve of Birthday of Shri Martand ji the 13th name of Sun God" Pandita said and informed that the Mahayagya would be performed for the peace and prosperity of the mankind at both shrines at Mattan and Suryabhawan Paloura simultaneously, during two day Hawan. He further said, "The Yagya will commence at 7pm on February 16 and culminate February 17 with Puranahuti at 1pm to be followed by Prasadvitran. Elaborate arrangements will be made for the devotees." |
