EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 24 : An impressive interactive programme was organized by Vishwakarma Temple Committee, Muthi under the chairmanship of Kuldeep Chalotra and Ravi Verma. On the occasion, MLA Raipur Domana, Bharat Bhushan (Bodhi) was the Chief Guest. Various speakers projected the demand of a Community Hall and development of temple infrastructure for public utility, a Holiday on Vishwakarma Day and enhancement of OBC quota. Kuldeep Chalotra pointed out that the BPL Ration Card process be simplified as poor people are facing inconvenience to get it issued. Surinder Sharma, Gen Secretary and Vijay Shastri of J&K Democratic Front raised the issue of discrimination with Jammu people. Ravi Verma, President and Jagdev Chalotra, Senior Vice President, Pradesh Vish wakarma Sabha, J&K raised the issue of development of temple infrastructure as it is a long pending demand of the people of village Muthi. On the occasion, Chief Guest MLA Bodhi announced Rs 15 lakh out o his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the construction of a Community Hall in the temple Complex. Referring to the demand like enhancement of reservation quota for OBC and holiday on Vishwakarma Day, he said it requires a long struggle and assured that he will strive hard for the same. |
