Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 24 : Rashtriya Rifles (RR) battalion of Indian Army, under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force Romeo (CIFR) organized a free medical camp in village Jhullas, Poonch. Army spokesman said, "The aim of the camp was to provide healthcare to needy people at their doorstep with the help of civil doctors. A team of civil and army doctors has Checked-up about 1024 personnel including 630 male, 220 female and 144 children were examined by the team of doctors and given medicines." He said, "The camp has brought much required succor to the locals, who otherwise, owing to remoteness of the area are deprived of medical facilities. The team also made the locals aware of importance of water hygiene in their day to day life." |
