Jammu, Feb 25: Debabrata Maji of Mechanical Engineering Department of North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) has been conferred with "Mother Teresa Excellence Award" in recognition of services, excellent performance and memorable contribution for the overall progress of the society.
According to press release, the award was conferred upon Maji in a function during seminar on "India's Development - Current Scenario" held at Senator Hotel Kolkata on February 24, by Minister for Science & Technology and Biotechnology, Govt. of West Bengal Rabiranjan Chatt-opadhyay. The award was presented by Integrated Council for Socio-Economic Progress, a Kerala based voluntary organization, working to promote national integration through unity, harmony, peace, solidarity and bonhomie. |
