JAMMU, Feb 25: Crime Branch (CB), Jammu has registered a case of cheating against three persons and some Government officials for preparation and fabrication of fake sale deed. According to sources, a complaint was lodged by one Sanjeev Singh Jamwal, son of Raseel Singh Jamwal of Panjgarain, Nagrota, at present House No. 5 Laxmi Nagar, Sarwal Jammu with the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jammu which was endorsed to Crime Branch, Jammu stating therein that the accused Anil Chopra son of Deva Singh of 61-B Lane No. 1 Subash Nagar, Extension-1 Jammu in connivance with other accused persons prepared a fake sale deed in favour of one Kuldeep Singh and got the same registered before Sub-Registrar, Jammu by affixing the photograph of some unknown person at the time of registration of the sale deed and thereafter replacing the same with the photographs of the complainant. On receipt of this complaint, an enquiry was initiated and it was found that the complainant being the attorney holder of the original owners of the land met the accused Anil Chopra in connection with the sale of land measuring 10 kanals and in the process handed over the power of attorney in the name of complainant, his photographs and copy of PRC for preparation of sale documents to the accused Anil Chopra, however, the deal did not get matured. After some time, the complainant came to know that the accused had got registered a fake sale deed of land measuring 10 kanals falling under Khasra No. 690 min, in the name of one Kuldeep Singh and had manipulated the photographs on the said sale deed as on the sale deed provided to Kuldeep Singh by the accused Anil Chopra, the seal of the court was found affixed on one photograph whereas on the other photograph the impression of the court seal was found missing because of pasting of some other photograph whereas the said unknown person and accused Anil Chopra were identified by one Sourab Manhas. On this a formal case has been registered against the main accused Anil Chopra and two of his associates identified as Dev Raj, son of Mir Chand of Jhakhar tehsil and district Jammu and Sourab Manhas son of Shamsher Singh of village Barn tehsil and district Jammu. A FIR No. 07/2013 under sections 419, 420, 423, 465, 466, 467, 468, 120-B RPC r/w section 5(2) P.C Act Svt. 2006 was registered and further investigation of the case is in progress. But you visited that place or saw that particular fellow for the first time. Then how did it happen like that? One day, I visited the Siyaishian Glacier & felt as if I had visited there earlier as well. But the fact is that I had gone there for the first time. I went deep into the matter & found that I had lived at that place earlier as well. |
