UDHAMPUR, Feb 25: Member Legislative Assembly, Ramnagar, Harsh Dev Singh inaugurated a bridge over Dugi Khad at village Kathail in Panchayat Satrari of block Majalta here today.
Constructed at a cost of Rs.22 lacs by Rural Development Department, the bridge would facilitate large number of inhabitants of adjoining areas to have access of different destinations comfortably.
On the occasion complementing the people of the area for fulfilment of their long pending demand, Singh said that better road connectivity is vital for socio-economic transformation of the people of any area. He hoped that the facility of bridge in this area would go a long way in the improvement of environment for emergency care besides upgrading public transport convenience.
People of the area highlighted the problem of electricity, water and other important issues on the occasion. Harsh Dev Singh patiently listened to the problem put forth by the villagers and said that he assured the people that their genuine demands would be taken up with the concerned department for their early redressal. |
