Jammu, Feb 25: Resenting against increase in road accidents, National Congress Party (NCP) activists under the leadership of Sudarshan Choud-hary staged protest at Greater Kailash area.
According to press release, dozens of party activists and school children were among the protesters and were raising slogans against state government and traffic department.
They demanded from government to install Traffic control lights at the accident prone areas, made speed breakers on highway, made subways for safe road crossing for school going children, beside others.
Ranjeet Singh, Neel Kanth Choudhary, Rayees Ahmed Shah, Ishfaq Ahmed Bhat, Rakesh Choudhary, Mohd Latif Ganai, Gulam Mohd beside others were among protesters. |
