Jammu, Mar 6: Chairman, PTU Daljit Singh and Ramesh Kapoor, State Coordinator, PTU have expressed their concern over the criminal silence of the government in the matter of state land and forest land grabbed by the land mafia with the help of revenue officials and criminal silence on the part of forest officials is in question.
Kapoor asked why the action has not been registered against the land grabbers and the officials of revenue and forest department who facilitated the land grabbers to grab the land.
Singh Chairman PTU alleged that 276 kanals of forest land in compartment No. 110 under khasra No. 719 in Panchayat Halqa Bup Sarar is grabbed sold with the convenience of the revenue officials showing the land in question is inherited property of Basant gir.
Kapoor demanded CBI inquiry in the 276 kanals forest land grabbing case in Bup-Sarar Panchayat to punish the culprit and fixed the responsibility as how the forest land is sold by changing the status of forest land.
