Jammu, Mar 6: To provide better employment avenues, on the spot opening of accounts and medical assistance to the people in far flung areas, Army's 63-Rashtriya Rifles Battalion organised one day "Awam Vikas Mela" today for the people of Dakkikot, Kot Chalwal, Bambal and Audan panchayats at Kunalagala. According to a Defence communiqué to achieve the objective of employment and empowerment of women and youth a well trained and skilled delegation from Jaipur Rugs headed by Sanjay Singh carried out lecture and screening of movie on employment avenues based on traditional embroidery, crochet and similar skill. Sarpanch of Kunalgala said the army is always on forefront in helping the poor people in thearea and "we are thankful to our army for making us aware about new technique of farming and would work on them so reap maximum benefits."
