Jammu, Mar 6: Erstwhile Doda Migrant Committee, Jammu took out protest rally in support of their genuine demands of considering the Doda Migrants at par with Kashmiri Migrants in terms of the Apex Court Order New Delhi and J&K High Court orders, Jammu.
The rally was led by Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Chariman and Som Nath, General Secretary. The rally started from Mubarakmandi, and proceeded towards the Raj Bhawan Jammu, where the protestors assembled and sat on protest Dharna to pressurize the sympathetic humane ear to the problems and sufferings faced by the Doda Migrants.
The rally was addressed by jointly Rakesh Kumar Sharma and Som Nath, general Secretary. The leaders said that the Doda migrants are sitting on Dharna for the last more than 8 years in support of their demand.
During the period all the political leaders assured us for we will be protected under Relief Organization, but we are still hanging in the air, due to reason our old aged persons and youngsters are facing problems and faces hardships, since they do not get proper nourishment, youngsters are being put to sufferings for their future carrier is at stake, women folk are equally facing the brunt.
In their address they urged and appealed the Governor of J&K State, to restore justice to the Doda migrants by registering the 25 families as migrants whose verification has already been conducted by the Govt. and their cases are pending for final decision with relief Organization. |
