| Srinagar, Mar 8 : A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service weapon near here, official sources said today. They said Constable Rahul Kumar of 79 batallion, guarding the official residence of Rural Development Minister Ali Mohammad Sagar at Church lane Sonawar, shot himself with his service weapon. He was immediately rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead, they said, adding that police has registered a case. It was not immediately clear he took the extreme step. |
