| Citing no reasons, Govt recalls top brass of BOSE, Jammu..! | | | ET Plus Report Jammu, Mar 8: In a major development that virtually vacated a battery of top brass heading Board of School Education (BOSE), Jammu, the Higher Education Ministry today recalled senior officials back to its parent department. The issuance of such an order may snowball into a big controversy as no reasons have been cited for such a big reshuffle that too when the Assembly Session is on. Furthermore, no replacement has been given to BOSE, Jammu by the Government, at a time, when crucial Board Examinations of Matriculation as well as Plus-2 are on. Highly placed sources in Civil Secretariat, here revealed to Early Time Plus that "an official Government order No. 103, HE of 2013 dated March 8th, 2013 i.e. today read that five top officials posted at top positions in BOSE are recalled to their parent department". "Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department, KB Agarwal today issued a written order that read five officials that belonged to Higher Education Department, but are presently working outside the department are hereby recalled back to parent department with immediate effect," confirmed sources further adding that "the officials included Chairman, Secretary, BOSE, Jammu and Joint Secretary, BOSE, Jammu besides other senior officials deputed at top and important posts. However, the reasons behind such a big development have not been cited in the order." The officials who have been recalled included Principal rank, Sheikh Bashir Ahmad, posted as Chairman, BOSE, Jammu, Principal rank, Renu Goswami, posted as Secretary, BOSE, Jammu, Principal rank, Javaid, Iqbal Khatib, posted as Joint Secretary, BOSE, Jammu, Associate Professor rank of History, Mohammad Kazim Wani, posted as State Editor Gazeetters Unit, J&K, Srinagar and Assistant Professor rank of Chemistry, Aijaz Ahmad Kanth posted as Lecturer, Women Polytechnic, Srinagar. The order further read that the said officials after their relieving shall report to Administrative Department for further postings. Despite repeated attempts, Minister for Higher Education Department, Mohammad Akbar Lone was not available for comment. |
