| Air force holds Gynecological camp | | | ET Plus Report
Udhampur, Mar 8 : On the eve of world women's day a Gynecological camp was organized under the aegis of Air Force Wives Welfare Association at Station Medicare Centre, Air Force Station Udhampur.
The camp was organized for Vayu Sanginis and was graced by the President AFWWA (L) Madhu Hirani who stressed the need for women power.
On this Occasion the chief guest interacted with Vayu Sanginis and said that it is the need of the hour that women must be strengthened in the society.
"Today women are contributing in all the fields of the society equal to men. So women must be self dependent, well educated, strong and aware of their rights and duties. Today's women must be free from all stresses including health problems" She said.
Senior Consultant (Gynecology), Dr. Savita Amla has examined seventy ladies on all the aspects pertaining to gynecological diseases, infections, their cause, treatment and their prevention. Pap smear of the suspected ladies was also taken. |
