| NC MLA Jan stages walkout from Assembly | | | Jammu, Mar 8 : Legislative Assembly today witnessed walkout Ajaz Jan, a member of ruling National Conference from Poonch after he registered protest over delay in commissioning CT scan machine in the district hospital of his constituency .
"It is regretful that district hospital in Poonch is without this vital machine on account of which needy patients are suffering….", NC MLA said in anger. I was told many times that department has earmarked funds for the same and given assurance many times but that authorities have not kept their word even as I have been clamoring for it for the last five years. Registering protest over delay and what he termed as unconcerned attitude of the authorities, Ajaz Jan staged walkout from the House, much to the embarrassment of the ruling party. |
