| Pvt Schools Asso organizes awareness on 'Disaster Management' | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur, Mar 8: Private Schools Association (PSA) today organized one day awareness programme on Red Cross Society & Disaster Management at JK Public Hr Sec School Udhampur.
Addl Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Udhampur Surat Singh was the Chief Guest on the occasion and he inaugurated the programme. Chief Education Officer (CEO) Darshan Lal was the guests of honour.
Surat Singh ADC in his address highly appreciated the role of the private schools to organize such an awareness program in which hundreds of teachers got benefited.
Dr V P Sharma Secretary of the Red Cross Society, Udhampur highlighted the various achievements of the Red Cross Society. He highlighted the awareness of the various programs undertaken by the Red Cross Society. B S Rattan President of Private Schools Association welcomed the distinguished guests & he emphasised that such programmes should be held from time to time in order to train the teachers of the private schools, so that they can handle the situation during any natural calamity.
S Manender Singh General Secretary of the association requested the Red Cross Society to provide First Aid Boxes to Primary & Upper Primary schools, which are contributing to Red Cross Funds every year. Muneesh Gulati, Spokesperson of the PSA said that the Private Schools share more than half of the burden of the government ion education sector. He thanked the chief guest & other dignitaries present on the occasion. Among others present on the occasion included DD Sharma Vice President, Ebby Cheriyan Media Advisor, K Ravi Kumar Treasurer & Vijay Kumar PRO & prominent citizens of district Udhampur and members of Red Cross Society. |
