| NNO stages protest against attack on vehicles in Valley | | |  ET Plus Report
Jammu, Mar 8: Nirbhao Nirvair Organization (NNO) on Friday staged protest demonstration at press club, against the damage of vehicles carrying passengers and goods to Kashmir valley.
Around a dozen protesters assembled outside press club and staged protest demonstration, amid sloganeering against state government.
General Secretary of organization, Ramneek Singh Sasan while condemning the act said that always the drivers became the victims of such atmosphere.
"When attacks on drivers are taking place in the Kashmir valley, it put a question mark on the Government that what is the fault of these drivers who are serving taking risks of their life and providing the essential items to the Kashmir based masses" he said, and demanded that compensation should be paid to the drivers, whose vehicles have been damaged.
He also appealed Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to provide security cover to these drives otherwise, they are not ready to run their vehicles to the Kashmir Valley. |
