Jammu, Mar 8: Senior leader of BJP and MLA Ashok Khajuria today raised his pitch in the Assembly over what he alleged the House had become an 'akhara'(ground) for anti national and anti security utterances by some members almost on regular basis. He alleged abusive language was being used against security forces deliberately to malign their image and such utterances were being made which go against the interests of the country. "It has become a routine affairs to speak against the country …….no day passes without abusing security forces…" Khajuria said while lodging strong protest over disruption of the House by members while raking up situation in Kashmir and incidents happening there. Registering protest in a loud manner Khajuria alleged this was delibearetly being done at the behest of NC led coalition as NC wants to keep the pot boiling for political interests . "NC's stalwart Mustafa Kamal is using abusive language against the security forces on TV channels and others are doing it inside the House.", BJP leader said amid noisy scenes, adding further that they all are taking advantage of Art 370 , which is why BJP wants its abrogation as early as possible. BJP MLA also said that while the members were raising national matters , none of them have so far touched the issue of brutal killings of two soldiers by Pakistan army in Mendhar nor have they uttered a single word against the killing of two IRP jawans two days back .Taking on Chief Minister and other ministers for allegedly using the similar expressions ,he said when they were bent upon raking up anti India propaganda, there can be no check on the members. He further said raising anti national voices was not in the interest of the nation as a whole and warned if the members continued with this spree BJP would take up the matter vociferously on roads. Later he participated in the discussion on budget and termed it as average having no specific mention of benefits for common people and a complete jugullary of figures. |
