| 96% expenditure made under MGNREGA in Anantnag District | | | ANANTNAG: Director Rural Development Kashmir today convened a meeting of officers to review various ongoing works being carried out under state and centrally sponsored schemes in Anantnag district here today Among others, the meeting was attended by all the Block Development Officer's and Assistant Commissioner Development besides and District Panchayat Officer, Ana-ntnag. It was given out in the meeting that under MGNREGA scheme during the financial year 2012-13, Rs. 4136.82 lakhs were utilised against an availability of Rs. 4291.17 lakhs generating 18.21 lakhs mandays during the previous financial year. As many as 7643 works were completed involving Rs. 3465.05 lakh while the remaining 1176 works of Rs. 2723.83 lakh are under progress.
Under Indira Awas Yojana (lAY) 87 percent expenditure was made amounting to Rs. 1119.87 lakhs against an availability of Rs. 1275.82 lakhs. Under the scheme 2698 households units were constructed during previous financial year.
Under the CD Panchayat scheme a total number of works 176 works were also taken up during the said period. |
