Jammu, June 4 : Continuing its drive against the criminals involved in Crime Against Women, Udhampur Police have arrested four accused involved in crimes against women in separate cases of Police Station Ramnagar and Panchari. According to police one accused namely Pawan Kumar S/O Suram Chand R/O Surni Ramnagar has been arrested U/S 376/511/RPC for attempt to commit rape and he has been remanded to concerned police at Police Post Ghordi, for 05 days for sustain investigations. In another case, a complaint of one unmarried women was received in Police Station Pancheri to the effect that she has been sexually exploited by one accused belonging to village Panjar luring her with false assurances of marriage but he deceived her and married somewhere else.
Based on the complaint of the women, Case FIR No. 24/2013 U/S 376/RPC has been registered and a Police Party led by SHO P/S Pancheri arrested the accused Madan Lal S/o Ram Saran R/o Panjar arrested. One more accused identified namely Maheshu S/O Bansi lal R/O Panjar has been arrested by police in case of molestation of a women U/S 354/,294 RPC P/S Panchari and has been remanded to Police custody for five days. In Police Station Ramnagar, Police has arrested one Pardeep Kumar S/o Om Parkash in case of molestation. |
