Div Com reviews execution of dev activities in Bandipora
Asks officers to make people aware about dev activities

BANDIPORA, June 4 : Highlighting the need for active cooperation among officers and public representatives, the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Mr. Shailendra Kumar today exhorted upon the officers to make the public aware about the activities and achievements with regard to development works being executed for the welfare of people. The Divisional Commissioner was addressing during a joint meeting of the officers and public representatives at Bandipora today. The meeting was convened to assess the public demands and grievance besides reviewing of the developmental scenario in the district. Asking officers to work with more dedication, besides expediting the pace of developmental activities and ensuring execution of ongoing projects within the stipulated period, the Divisional Commissioner assured the people that the genuine demands would be addressed on priority adding that measures for beautification of the district would be ensured. He directed officers to prepare project plan in light of public demands which would be taken care of during the board meeting scheduled to be held on 18th of this month.
The public representatives on this occasion put forth various demands and suggestions with regard to availability of road connectivity, education, PHE, irrigation, medicare facilities, sanitation, traffic system besides playing fields in the district.
Earlier, the District Development Commissioner informed the meeting about the development activities carried out in the district and achievements made under the annual plan during last financial year.
