| JKSTA highlights problem of teacher community | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 4 : Jammu Kashmir State Teachers Association (JKSTA) today appealed the higher ups in education department to safeguard the community interest and to resolve the issues pertaining to teacher's community. Addressing a press conference today Sardar Kulwant Singh, President Jammu Kashmir State Teachers Association alleged that the higher education department has become sick of political intervention and serving of personnel interests by some vested interest people owing to which some teachers are languishing in rural areas for the last more than seven years without any transfer to their home town. He demanded regularization of teachers who have completed their successful tenure in the department besides variety of other issues they are witnessing in their day to day life in education department. "Salary of teacher working under SSA without pay for many months should be released at early years", the association members said. Various other speakers were also present in the conference. |
