| Choudhary demands probe into funds embezzlement for Nandpur | | | | SAMBA, July 29 : Alleging misappropriation of funds meant for proposed "Model Village" Nandpur, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) demanded a through probe into the irregularities. General Secretary and Spokesperson of NCP Sudarshan Choudhary said that village Nandpur in Tehsil and District Samba had been declared by the authorities a "Model Village". Choudhary said that he visited the village and found that it lacks the basic amenities to be provided to a Model Village. He alleged that it has been learnt that the funds provided for various works allotted to different agencies have been drawn but the ground reality shows that the works still remain incomplete and unattended. NCP leader said that the concerned authorities need to clear its position adding that Government should also ensure optimum use of funds allotted for various works so as to make Nandpur a Model Village in the real sense and have all basics amenities of such a village. |
