7/29/2013 11:14:10 PM

ET Report
JAMMU, July 29: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah exposed the hypocrisy of the separatists in the valley when he disclosed that they (separatists) have been holding talks with the intelligence and other agencies but don't want to come out in the open.
Omar had brought this fact in the public domain which was in the knowledge of every one but was not spoken about it publicly.
Separatists have been holding and also consulting intelligence agencies for quite long and they have been doing this with agencies of the Pakistan also.
The top of the list is so called hard core Syed Ali Shah Geelani. Geelani was in knowledge of the hanging of the Afzal Guru and had left Srinagar just before that and convienently got house arrested in N Delhi to project himself that he was away from Srinagar and as such could not lead the protests.
"Geelani was in knowledge of every thing. He chalked out a strategy to leave Kashmir when Guru was to be hanged. Intelligence agencies knew it and there he got himself arrested in a big house," said a senior official in intelligence department.
Separatists in Kashmir had all along being kept in the loop of intelligence agencies.
"Former RAW chief AK Dullat had personal relations with many in separatists and he would get his way through them. What CM has said that just brought facts before the people," said a senior official.
It's because of this reason that most the separatists have send their own wards to best of the educational institution and have also been evading taxes running into crores of rupees.
"Separatists are using Kashmir issue to run their own money minting industry. They are minting money enjoying all the privileges and perks but put up the public face of being anti-Indian."
The official said if these separatists are so serious about the issue then why they need security cover and also the pension, which Geelani is drawing as a former MLA .
