| KAS Association agitates posting of non-cadre officers against cadre posts | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, July 29 : A delegation of KAS Association today met the Chief Secretary and apprised him about various issues pertaining to the KAS fraternity. The delegation highlighted various issues relating to the cadre management of KAS including promotions and postings. The Chief Secretary was informed about the resentment of KAS officers against the postings of non-KAS officers against the cadre-posts and demanded that all such arrangements be withdrawn immediately and all these posts may be filled-up by eligible and suitable KAS officers. The delegation drew the attention of the Chief Secretary towards the recent government order where under the charge of Director Estates has been given to Joint Development Commissioner, Works, (Chief Engineer). The officers thanked the Chief Secretary for clearing the promotions of whole 1999 batch of KAS and requested him to fill the available vacancies in favour of eligible officers of subsequent batches at an earliest. Delegation assured the Chief Secretary that they will leave no stone unturned in playing their role for administration and overall development of the state. |
