Jammu, July 29 : Demanding constitution of Lokayukta or Lok Pal Bill for J&K state, social activist, Om Parkash Sharma today completed him one long fast.
According to press release, the follower of Anna Hazare, said that he has been struggling for eradication of corruption and constitution of the Loka Yukta in the State of Jammu & Kashmir against the ongoing corruption, which has gone to ridiculous heights.
He further said that he has undertaken that as long as the strong Lokayukt or Lok Pal Bill is not brought by the J&K Government he will not take food. "Today is 365 days of my fast without food. His' health has deteriorating and his weight has also gone down by 11 Kgs, but his courage has increased", he said, adding that he was only worried about the people and the country, because in our country the people in the Government are the corrupt people and eradication of the corruption is his only target. |
