KATHUA, July 29: Deputy Secretary Industry Dr Bharat Bhushan has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Lakhanpur-Sarthal Development Authority (LSDA).
On assuming office, CEO Dr. Bushan today said that areas having vast potential of pilgrim tourism in Basholi and Bani of Kathua district will be fully harnessed to attract more and more tourists.
He said that the government is determined to develop every area in Kathua having tourism potential for which sufficient funds are available under state and centrally sponsored schemes. The various TRCs which are being constructed to facilitate the tourists are available in Kharote, Thein, Satwain, and Mata Bala Sundari where priority will be to bring these centres on the tourism map of the state. |
