JAMMU, July 29: Taking a serious note over the unscheduled power cuts and low voltage in remote areas of block Sunderbani of District Rajouri, the Kranti Dal alleged that the power scenario in the region is deteriorating due to the callous attitude of the district administration. A team of Kranti Dal visited remote areas of block Sunderbani like Lower Kangri, Thichka, Firing Line, Sodra, Kalideh, Banpuri, Ghora, Tanki, Dheri and Ghai-Seria. In a press statement issued her today, Kranti Dal leader Mohinder Raina said that district administration is very careless towards the problems of the people residing in remote areas of Sunderbani. There is unscheduled power cuts and low voltage which directly hits the villagers' life. Raina said that people made repeated complaints with the PDD authorities of Sunderbani about low voltage but department turned a deaf ear to their grievances. Kranti Dal asked the district administration to look into the matter seriously and take necessary action against those responsible for the mess. Kranti Dal also asked the Power Minister to take personal interest in solving the peoples' problems and warned that if the problem of low voltage and frequent power outages is not solved within 15 days, the party along with villagers would stage a protest in front of District Headquarter of PDD office. |
