Doda, July 29 : All India Students Federation Distt Council Doda organized its 1st Distt Conference at Town Hall Doda City. The theme of the Conference is "Status of Students in Chenab Valley Region". The Conference was presided over AISF State Incharge J&K Com (Dr.) Akash Manhas and he was associated with State President Com Ajaz Ahmed. National Council member and President University of Punjab Com. Sukhvinder Maheshwar attend the Conference as Special Guest and as a Observer from the National Council. Number of Delegates from Different College and Higher Secondary Schools attended the Conference which includes Govt Degree College Bhaderwah, Kilhotran, Thathri and Doda, and from Higher Secondary School Gandoh, Assar, Khellani, Jatheli, Bhagwah, Gundna, (B) Doda, (G) Doda, Green Model, Paramount and also from various Professional Colleges like Polytechnic, APEX Paramedical, ITI Doda and others. The Conference was also attended by members of Civil Society Like Ishtiaq A. Dev, Nuzhat Zargar, Sallah-ud-Din, Thakur Yog Raj, Des Raj Manhas, Besides this various representative from Different organization also attended the Conference as Observer. The Conference started with the paying tributes to Shaheed Bhagat Singh followed by a Condolence meeting and a 2 minutes silence for Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Mohd Saleem Dy. Chief Organizer presents Welcome speech and Work Report was presented By Distt President Mukesh Parihar. Various Guests from different sections of the Society presented their comments on the working of the Federation in the Distt and registered full faith. |
