| Political corruption on rise in country, alleges J&K Movement for Peace | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 5 : All J&K Movement for Peace & Justice today alleged that political and administrative corruption graph in the country was on a higher side "but Congress led UPA government is reluctant to provide a freedom to CBI despite Supreme Court direction." "Congress had been constantly misusing the premier agency (CBI) for pressurizing its allies and opponents. Honest officers are being repeatedly harassed as an appeasement towards influential political personalities without caring the interests of a common Indian," a spokesperson of the Movement said in a statement. "Militancy effected and target of across the border agencies J&K state is facing a discriminatory and egoistic attitude of high profile ruling personalities without caring the frustration of common citizens. Omar Abdullah as Chief Minister has sufficient time for valley based visitors only at Srinagar whereas one gets no response as aspirant visitor in Jammu office," he alleged. "Same is the case with state Raj Bhawan and Deputy CM Tara Chand's offices at Jammu despite having lot of staff on government pay roll with them." The spokesperson said that Arvind Kejriwal's 'Aam Aadmi Party' can be an alternative to the present disorder in the country. "But every possible methodology is being implemented by the ruling and other leading political parties to bait the poor and illiterate Indians in coming 2014 elections which is certainly an alarming development," he said. "High Profile personalities either merely have an egoistic or a vote bank approach but who will care for the country or a common Indian?" he questioned. The members of the Movement who attended the meeting included Dr GS Charak, Gurtaj Singh, Kuldeep Kumar Rao, JS Chib and Deep Singh. |
