| Two gangs of cheaters busted in South Kashmir | | | early times report
Srinagar Aug 5: Anantnag police today arrested six cheaters who were cheating gullible people by selling fake celestial stones. SSP Anantnag issued an advisory for the people not to fall prey to such cheaters and fraudsters.
Acting on specific information, police station Ashmuqam arrested four cheaters who were duping people by selling fake celestial stones locally known as Trata Goola having magical powers. Ghulam Hassan Mir son of Mohammad Akbar resident of Fohar, Shabir Ahmad Akhoon son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Mati Gawran, Gull Mohammad Bhat son of Abdullah Bhat resident of Sakhdas and Ghulam Rasool Mir son of Mohammad Akbar resident of Shatru Kokernag were arrested.
Aishmuqam Police registered a case FIR number 63/2013 under section 420,511 against the cheaters and investigation has been started.
Meanwhile, in similar cheating incident in Bijbehara two cheaters were arrested by the police who were duping gullible people by selling magical stone.
Gulzar Ahmad Khan son of Arif Khan resident of Nishat Srinagar and Mohammad Shameem Rather son of Mohammad Sultan resident of Behama Ganderbal were arrested by Bijbehara Police and a case FIR No; 139/2013 under 420 RPC was registered against them.
SSP Anantnag, R.K.Jalla has advised people not to fall into the trap as no such item exists which is having magical power.
