KATHUA, Aug 5: In order to listen to the grievances and demands of people, Member Parliament, Ch. Lal Singh, convened a public grievances camp at his residence here at Kathua. The public representatives from various panchayats put forth their problems and demands before the MP which included upgradation of schools, road connectivity, regular supply of ration and electricity, enhancement of old age pension to Rs.1000 per month, new dispensaries, veterinary centers and inclusion of genuine poor families in BPL list. Speaking on the occasion, the MP said that education, road connectivity and health care are among the priority sectors of the government. He appealed the panchs and sarpanchs to identify the important roads of their areas which need improvement for recommendation to the government. He said that he has recommended upgradation of a number of govt schools in the constituency. |
