| JKDF appeals for voting to Anmol Jaswal | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 5: Student union of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum (JKDF) today started SMS voting campaign at University of Jammu in favour of budding singer and son of soil Anmol Jaswal who is amongst the finalists of Indian Idol Junior. Campaign was started by the student activists of JKDF led by Abhishek Slathia (President JKDFSU). Activists of JKDF made person to person contact in different departments of University of Jammu to apprise the students and youth to vote and support the talented boy of Jammu to help him to win over the title of Indian Idol Junior. JKDF student wing has resolved to continue similar campaign in various colleges and schools also for gathering support in favour of Anmol Jaswal. Abhishek Slathia pointed out that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is twittering about the non inclusion into final eleven of Parvez Rasool, a cricketer from valley who has been recently selected in Indian squad for Zimbabwe Tour. But he never uttered a word about Anmol Jaswal who has reached to final of the Indian Idol Junior as being from Jammu Division. Such a biased approach from a person to the level of Chief Minister is condemnable. |
