| KPC condemns killing of elderly person at Jagti | | | Et Report Jammu, Aug 5: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has strongly condemned the brutal murder of an elderly person living in Jagti Township and demanded immediate arrest of culprits.In a statement issued KPC Chief, Kundan Kashmiri held state government and administration for responsible for the murder of TK Talashi due to their failure to provide security to the Jagti Inmates. Kundan Kashmiri further said that despite repeated request and demand from Jagti inmates as well as KPC leadership for an effective police post and police patrolling in and around the Jagti Township, but government failed to response for the same demand, which resulted such nature of grave incidents occurred in the camp. KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri demanded immediate arrest of culprits and financial assistant and government job to one of the members of victim's family at the earliest. He also appealed camp inmates to maintain brotherhood in and around the camp and not allow selfish interest to take advantage of such happenings. President KPC has also sent his reaction to the office of Home Minister of India in respect of this grave incident. Meanwhile J&K police have arrested all the three accused involved in murder of Talashi from Ludhiana (PB). They have been identified as Rakesh, Sumit and Shanty. A police chowki is also being eastablished in the camp, sources added. |
