Jammu, Aug 10: The residents of Shakti Nagar organised a meeting to discuss problem over flowing nallah in the area which often creates havoc with slight drizzle. President of Shakti Nagar Welfare Forum Harwant Singh Bhau while speaking on the occasion said that the residents have been facing the problem every year during the rainy season. He rued that nobody was ready to listen to the complaints of the residents as they have brought this matter into the notice of various concerned departments several times. Bhau said this year it is third incident during rainy season, that the majority of the houses of Shakti Nagar locality were submerged on Friday morning. The members were furious that the authorities of the Jammu Municipal Corporation are aware about this, yet no remedial measure has been initiated so for in this area. They decided to hold a protest demonstration by blocking the Poonch highway on Monday. Present in the meeting included Vijay Kumar Sawhney, Ravinder Koul, Kuljeet Singh Jamwal, S.K.
