Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 10: Congress MP from Udhampur-Doda constituency Lal Singh has demanded CBI probe in to the Kishtwar violence incident to unmask the faces of those behind the targeted attack on members of the minority community.
Targeting the state government over its failure to contain the law and order situation before it completely went out of hands Lal Singh said, there was no rule of law on ground zero when shops and houses of members of the minority community were attacked and burnt down.
He also targeted the separatists leaders for spreading hatred among the peace loving population in the area and said their nefarious designs should not be allowed to succeed.
He also took on the BJP leaders for trying to take advantage of the situation and polarise the atmosphere by burning down Pakistani flags. Lal Singh urged top brass of the congress including PM Manmohan Singh, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and party Vice President Rahul Gandhi to intervene in the matter and restore rule of law. He also demanded adequate compensation from the govt for those who lost their lives and means of livelihood.
