| NCP leaders visits Pindi Camp on IB | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 10 : General Secretary and spokesperson of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Sudarshan Choudhary visited Pindi Camp situated near to the zero line of international border in Bishnah sector. "Being a border village they are facing bullet of enemy every day with their living conditions miserable. Streets are full of mud which makes difficult to walk and there are no street lights. Even after the 65 years of independence no basic amenities have been provided to this village," he said in a statement. "Being a border village they have threat to migrate at odd hours which is absolutely impossible due to lack of road connectivity and poor condition of streets," he added. During his visit delegations of the this border town called on the visiting NCP Leader and apprised him with their problesm being faced by them and sought redressal of the same. After visiting Pindi Camp, Choudhary appealed the Deputy Commissioner, Jammu and the other concerned authorities to wake up and make the basic amenities available to this village at the earliest. He also urged the State government to allot five marla plots to each family at some safer place. "If necessary steps are not taken by the government and concerned departments, NCP shall have no option but to adopt an agitation path to achieve the goal," he said. Meanwhile refering to the recent communal tensions erupted after the clashes between the two communities in Kishtwar on Friday, Choudhary criticized the Kishtwar incident and blamed the administration who could not control the situation. Meantime he appealed the people from various sections of society to maintian communal harmony and brotherhood to beat neferous design of the elements hell bent to disturb the peace in the area. meanwhile taking strong notice of Pak’s proxy’s war inthe state, NCP leader warned the Pakistan not to interfere in India's internal affairs and said india must also take up the issues like border skirmishes and BAT Operations to Intetrnational forums to isolate the Pakistan on global foras. |
