Jammu, Aug 10 : After a long wait of around 45 years, Jammuites have a reason to smile as Radio Kashmir Jammu is going to begin broadcasting of all announcements of various programmes in Dogri language on the eve of Eid.
Incharge Director Radio Kashmir Jammu, Anjali Sharma informed Early Times that from Friday all transmission across Jammu province would be started in Dogri language. "The inaugural, day long and closing announcements will be broadcasted in Dogri while the programmes which are relayed from Delhi would be broadcasted in Hindi as well as Dogri", she said. She further informed that the manual of Radio Kashmir Jammu was in Dogri. "The broadcasting would have been started 45 years back but due to some unknown reasons, it remained hampered", she said, adding that the day was also the right time for starting of all transmission in Dogri. |
