| Pak violates truce again | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 18: Pakistani Army Sunday again violated the truce agreement on line of control (LoC) and fired with mortar bombs and small heavy arms. The firing started around 2 pm and was going on till last reports came in. The fire was retaliated by Indian Army, in which so far no loss of life has been reported. For past many days, Pak forces are violating ceasefire agreement on LoC and are firing on forward posts on the line of control. This was the unprovoked firing the Pakistani forces which targeted Indian posts and civilian areas. As on one side the Pakistani forces are violating the truce agreement on LoC and firing unprovoked on Indian posts, on the other Pak is summoning Indian high commissioner to register protest of truce violation by India. It is a known fact that it is Pakistan, which has been and is violating the truce agreement on the LoC, just to facilitate the infiltration into Indian side. The Indian government is silent on this approach of Pakistani government, which is not acceptable to people of the country. It is the Pakistani forces who are responsible for mutilation of one Indian Jawan on LoC in January and beheading of other and killing of six more jawans recently. They don't have right to call Indian ambassador and register protest which is not based on facts. The Indian government must not take it lightly and should give a befitting reply to Pakistan on firing on LoC and summoning of its ambassador. |
