Expressing his solidarity with the people of the region he alleged that the government has failed the people and has proved its unworthiness. "Rains have caused havoc in the region and claimed loss to lives and property of the poor. It is very unfortunate that there has been a great loss to lives and property in the border districts but it is sadder that no representative of the government and not even the local MLA visited the area to assess the damage and console the people," he added.
