| TN Club, RCC Jammu win ties in Friendship T20 | | |

JAMMU, Aug 30: Tamil Nadu (TN) Cricket Club and Rajput Cricket Club (RCC), Jammu register victories in the ongoing All India 1st Jammu and Kashmir Friendship Twenty20 Cricket Championship at University of Jammu ground, here on Friday.
In the first match of the day, TN Cricket Club outplayed UP Cricket Club by 13 runs. Batting first, TN Club set a target of 107 runs, which, in reply, UP Club could not chase and exhausted their quota of 20 overs for 93 runs for the loss of five wickets. Raja Sheikh of winner TN Club was declared man of the match.
Meanwhile, in another match of the day, Rajput Club Jammu trounced Haryana Cricket Club by a margin of 33 runs in a low scoring game.
Earlier, batting first, after winning the toss, Rajput Club made 99 runs for the loss of four wickets. In reply, Haryana Club could make only 66 to lose the tie by 33 runs. Gagan of Rajput Club was named man of the match for his all round performance. Mohd Rafi and Rajinder were umpires while Yasir Dar maintained the score in today's matches. |
