| Omar Govt loots unemployed youth | | Horticulture Deptt re-advertises posts after 2 years | | Saahil Suhail ANANTNAG, Aug 30: The Omar led Government has been accused of looting the unemployed youth of Jammu Kashmir. The Horticulture department has re-advertised posts after two years. According to the notification number CHO/Ang/Estt/924-29, dated, 2/07/2013 available with early times, State horticulture department re-advertised the class-iv 30 posts which were advertised in 2011 via advertisement number CHO/Class-IV/Adv/2048-54 dated: 10/09/2011 and pursuant to Govt. Order No: 257-F of 2011 dated: 27 /10/2011. For these already advertised class-iv posts, inside sources said that thousands of youths apparently with higher qualifications have applied for the posts, however since then the department failed to precede the recruitment process. "I was shocked to know that the department has re-advertised the class-iv posts after 2 years as I have been following the process since the posts were first advertised," Aijaz Ahmad, an applicant told Early Times. Highly placed sources revealed that the youth who had applied two years ago had also paid money to the officials to ensure their employment. But the posts have been re-advertised and the candidates have been left high and dry. "What is the fun of re-adverting the posts after thousands of youth have applied? This Government has totally become dysfunctional see the work culture and level of corruption." Fumed Government official wishing not be named said, adding department's move is aimed to befool the qualified candidates. Repeated attempts failed to contact director horticulture for a comment. |
