JAMMU, Aug 31: The Single Window Committee (SWC) of the Industries and Commerce Department, Jammu today allotted 52 Kanal and 2 Marla land for setting of 22 units at various Industrial Estates across the region, including Kathua, Samba, Doda and Jammu.
The land was allotted at the 17th Divisional Level Single Window Committee meeting held under the chairmanship of director, I&C Jammu, Gulzar Ahmed Qureshi. The SWC has allotted 52 kanals and two marla of land among 22 units at various Industrial Estates at Kathua, Samba, Doda and Jammu.
The proposed units shall generate employment for 330 persons with capital investment of Rs.2005.24 lakh. The other members of the committee were MD SIDCO, M M Mouzim, MD SICOP, R L Tikoo, RD PCB, Sajjad Mufti, Joint Director Industries, Smt Rifat Kohli and Technical Officer PDD, Sanjeev Kumar, General Manager of DICs and other officers of industries and commerce. The Director also impressed upon all the concerned agencies to ensure the disposal of such cases in a time bound manner. |
