JAMMU, Aug 31: With no cooling system in place, the BJP workers experienced inconvenience during a meeting at KK Resort here today.
Around 1500 people were attending the party function being addressed by the BJP national president Rajnath Singh experienced some tough moments inside the humid hall as the organizers had not considered putting a proper cooling system in place.
A worker, Sharma said that it seems that the air conditioning system and other cooling system was not in place and BJP people didn't bring any cooling system from outside before selecting the venue.
The state BJP unit was working for this workers meet for past two months when Rajnath Singh had given his consent to preside over the function. But the state unit of the BJP took the matter lightly and made people to suffer in the humid condition.
Besides that BJP leaders wasted too much time on formalities thus adding to the woes of the workers. "The size of the hall was not compatible for this event where hundreds of people have to participate in a meeting which is going to be addressed by a national leader. A proper home work should have been done and some other place should have been selected as venue for such kind of event," said a journalist who covered the event. |
